Valve Want To Get Better At PS3 Developent

At this point it’s become common knowledge that Valve don’t like the PS3 much. Well, that could be about to change. Valve writer Chet Faliszek has said how the company now wants to put it’s “best foot forward” in terms of PS3 development.

We thought that the Orange Box didn’t put our best foot forward with the PS3 community. We don’t want to do something like that again on the PS3. We want to give PS3 owners the best possible experience.

“Some of that will come from us learning and getting better. Before we can go onto the PS3 again, we want to make sure we’re better at developing for it.

It seems Valve have come to realise that the PS3 isn’t the spawn of Satan and that studios are actually making money from PS3 development. What this exactly means is unclear, but it sure would be nice to see them developing PS3 versions Left 4 Dead 3 or Portal 2.
