There’s 1,000 Songs On The Rock Band Platform

Harmonix have announced that they have met their goal of having 1,000 tracks on the Rock Band platform before the holiday season.

According to the press release these songs are the work of 390 artists and 60 million songs have been downloaded by users to date. Harmonix informs us that the Rock Band music store has now been updated 105 weeks in a row. I have to say, that’s pretty impressive.

Congrats to Harmonix and, to quote Joystiq’s Griffin McElroy, “get back to work. That Paul Simon track pack isn’t going to program itself”.
