In their preview EW has revealed a few gameplay tweaks. For starters, Drake now has the ability to fight multiple enemies at the same time. A teaser at the bottom of their story tells us very little, other than we need to watch the VGA’s on Spike to get us some more Uncharted. I don’t know about you, but I’m there!

Today’s update was a fairly weak offering, however on the bright side of things there is a full hour trial of Ferrari: The Race Challenge for Plus subscribers to try out, and a big discount on both MW2 packages, so perhaps its not all bad.

The LittleBigPlanet PSP developer spoke to SPOnG and, alongside news of new DLC for LBP and some stuff on Move Superstars, they let slip this little bit of information:

We’re still working on Play TV, Play TV 2. And then we have other guys working on other concepts…

We’re definitely interested in those “other projects” but, for now, it’d be nice to see what the guys have in store for Play TV’s sequel. Maybe we’ll find out at E3.

The president of Sony Europe gave PlayStation fans a bit of an insight on what to expect in the near future:

I can assure you that the current PSN as you know it will remain a free service. It is something that our competitors don’t offer and something that shows our loyalty to the PlayStation Community. However, Kaz Hirai stated a few months ago that we were looking at a premium service to sit alongside the current free service and that objective has not changed. You’ll learn more about it very soon.

House was also quizzed on the topic of cross game chat and responded with a very similar answer:

“We know that cross-game chat is something that the community wants and hopefully we will have an answer for you very soon.”

So there’s another cat out of the bag then. Will Sony have anything to surprise us with at E3?

At a small press event in Amsterdam, the Dutch developer confirmed that a third installment in the, now popular, shooter franchise is on it’s way to a PS3 near you. James Gallagher reported just a few of the juicy details, on behalf of the European PlayStation Blog.

That said, a lot of the details came out last week – the game will have a 3D mode and feature jetpacks. To me, that sounds a little…nausea-inspiring. You can check out some screenshots of the game after the jump. No doubt, we’ll be hearing a lot more about the game come June 14th.
