The new space will include the Heavy Rain “Evidence Analysis” mini-game and that’s about all we know. The PlayStation Blog post was pretty light on details, but users have been promised some kind of reward for completing the game. It seems this might make some venture into Home for the first time in a while. Then again, it probably won’t.

The biggest thing this patch will add is universal game launching. That’s right, the much promised reason that Home was meant to exist will finally arrive in a couple of months.

Another kinda cool, but ultimately pointless, new feature is the camera. Hold onto your wallets, this camera will be free and will allow you to take photos within the world and save them to your PS3′s hard drive. Didn’t you always want to relive that time you and a bunch of randoms started dancing? No? Ok then.

Speaking of dance moves, the update will now add a bunch of new emotes and avatar actions.

Ultimately, this could really help the user base of the service expand. However, the camera and new emotes aren’t really that important.

Today’s update will see the Events Space in Europe decked out with all kinds of garb related to, new downloadable release, Fat Princess. Whilst the game does not have a space of it’s own (yet), users will be tasked to answer eight questions in order to win pieces of cake. Aquiring eight pieces will grant you a “princess throne” for your personal Home space.

Also launching soon will be a Home space for, offroad racer, MotorStorm. The latest game in the series released almost a year ago and it seems like a case of “better late than never” really. The MotorStorm content is set to be released in the coming weeks, but Sony have announced that as of today players will be able to launch directly into MotorStorm 2 from PlayStation Home. Definitely a cool feature.

It’s been confirmed that the exclusive Joker challenge rooms DLC for Batman: Arkham Asylum will be free.

The announcement was made a month or so ago in PlayStation Home and, by all accounts, has seen an increase in PS3 pre-orders for the Dark Knight’s next game. There was some footage of The Joker shown at E3 in a montage at Sony’s press conferencce (currently available on the PlayStation Store) and it definitely looks like Batman’s nemesis will definitely change up the gameplay.

Nice to see that this DLC is free, I wonder if the Joker (or perhaps other villains) will have more challenge rooms released in due course?

That’s right, today Home has been updated and it brings with it the banner you see at the top of this post. That’s right, Home can actually be useful and has provided us PS3 fans something to ‘brag about’, that is if you’re a Batman fan who wants Arkham Asylum.

You see Home has foretold that The Joker will be playable in a series of, PS3 exclusive, challenge maps. There’s been no more details other than this announcement, i’ll get onto Eidos inthe mornign and see what all this is about and see if I can snag any juicy gossip.

There’s been a hell of a lot of promotion for the Watchmen movie as you’d expect, but there’s been a ton of it in Sony’s PlayStation Home.

Home got updated today and brought with it a slew of Watchmen content. There’s some new ornaments (comic books and a big clock) and new clothing including Rorshach and Nite Owl costumes and some t-shirts.

The best part about all of this is that all of the content is free and is well worth checking out, especially for Watchmen fans.

Long after it was announced Sony are finally delivering the WarHawk game room to Home. Named the “Command Center”, the new space will allow players to get a strategy together before, quickly, jumping into a game.

I guess this is pretty cool, it’s great Sony are still backing Home, but will it attract new people? I’m not too sure.

It looks like Capcom have been hard at work giving the fans something cool in PlayStation Home. The Japanese developer are adding a slew of Street Fighter costumes into Sony’s social service as well as Resident Evil 5 costumes and an RE 5 themed game space. Little is known about these add-on’s as of yet, but i’m sure they’ll sell if they’re not overpriced (of course, the game space is free). I wonder if they’ll chuck in a zombie themed mini game? I hope so. More on this when we get the info.

Sony seem to have decided to stop announcing new things coming into PlayStation Home. We have been informed that yesterday a new update was released for the service, bringing with it the Home Events space and leaderboards for the Red Bull: Air Race Home space. Now if Sony had announced this, it might have got people to visit. Seems like bad marketing for a company that’s just lost $1 billion +. Either way they’re out, they’re pretty cool. Nothing special, just a new minigame and some leaderboards. Check it out though, it might just take your fancy.

The Namco Museum beta launched a few days back in Asian territories and not only does it come with some cool free games (PacMan e.t.c.) it also gives users free stuff in Home.

Getting high scores on the games allows users to unlock exclusive Namco related gear for their avatar within Sony’s, recently launched, service. Hit the jump for more details.

All you need to do is download the beta from one of the many Asian territory stores (preferably Hong Kong, although I use Japan) and play it on the account you use in Home. Beating high scores will allow you to unlock things like:

• T-Shirts
• Hats
• Decorations
• Up to 4 arcade cabinets

This sounds really cool. I hope more companies start implementing things like this into games, I think this could be one the coolest Home related features i’ve seen so far.
