Portal 2 comes to PS3 with Steamworks support – the only console version to have this – which means there’ll be stuff like: “auto updates, community features, downloadable content, and more” in there. Cool.

On a scale of 1 to impossible, I think this announcement was at the latter end of that scale. Check out the footage from the conference after the jump.

This marks a return of the franchise to home consoles and it’s coming complete with flight. That’s right, you’ll be able to fly helicopters in Twisted Metal. The vehicular slaughter-fest is coming in 2011. The game is playable on the show floor. Look for my preview soon.

There’s very little known about the game thus far. All we know is it’s called Time Crisis: Razing Storm and will use the new Move controller. Look out for my preview soon.

The concept behind the game is a simple one and one we’ve seen before. Sony are taking a smattering of their beloved characters (the more cartoony ones) and sticking them in an unfamiliar situation. Little is known about the game, other than the fact it uses the new motion controller and will feature, amongst others:

• Jak & Daxter
• Ratchet & Clank
• Sly Cooper

It sounds good though, right?

PlayStaion Plus will give players access to a host of new features and, as promised, all of the current features will still be available free of charge. Those paying the $49 a year subscription (or $18 every three months) will get access to:

• Exclusive DLC and other content
• Free full games that change monthly
• Early access to some demos and betas
• An auto-patching feature

The service will be available next month. Subscribers will receive WipEout HD, an inFamous demo, Fieldrunners, Age Of Zombies, Rallycross and a bunch of themes, avatars and stuff like that. There’s a catch though, if you decide to unsubscribe you lose all access to the free content you’ve downloaded.

The 3D enabled shooter from Guerrilla Games will be Sony’s showcase for two new technologies. As announced earlier this month, gamers will have the option to play the game in 3D (something Sony sees as the trend. A trend they’re going to dominate, apparently). What we didn’t know is we’ll also be able to play it with Move.

Looks like, if you want the full Killzone 3 experience, your wallet will take a bit of a hit. Look for my preview very soon.

PS3, 360 and PC owners will all be able to experience what DICE have put together so far, next Monday. As I mentioned in a previous post, those who have pre-ordered the game and are Bad Company VIP’s will get access to the beta early – on June 17th.

The beta includes two maps, Hellmand Valley and Kabul City Ruins, and will support up to 24 players in two different game modes, Team Assault and Combat Mission. EA showed off a live demo of the game at the press conference today. The game looks good. Modern Warfare 2 might have a little more competition.

The new maps will be set in Vietnam during the infamous war and will include new weapons, vehicles and trophies. Pricing is set to be announced very soon. The trailer is after the jump.
