Sony Takes A Shot At Apple With New Ad

The Kevin Butler PS3 campaign has been a big success for Sony and they hope to repeat that with Marcus and their portable system.

There’s been a few of these Marcus ad’s of late and the latest of these takes a shot at Apple and the App Store. The tech giant has taken shots at Nintendo and Sony in their own ad campaigns, but this is the first time someone’s taken a shot at their products.

This kind of thinly-veiled mud slinging is common leading up to the holiday season. Sony hope that showing off their ‘PSP Essentials’ in comparison to Apple’s apps – some of which aren’t the greatest games in the world – will help them boost sales coming in to this busy buying season. The problem is, Sony don’t exactly have a large amount of AAA titles coming soon.
