Rock Band 2 PS3 Out In Europe By Christmas?

The rumor mill hasn’t been as active as it usually is but it looks like it might be back in full force. EA’s external PR partners might have let slip the release window for the PS3 version of Rock Band 2 in Europe. We already know, through advertisments, that the game is coming to European 360′s in November. Could it be that the rest of the releases are coming a month later? It looks like that the case. Hit the jump for more.When talking to Eurogamer the partners let slip that the game would be “out this side of Christmas”. When EG followed up this claim with EA they were told that “MTV, Harmonix and EA have not yet confirmed a UKrelease date for Rock Band 2″.

At the moment it looks like the game might make it out before Christmas, rather than the year long wait for the original. Although Guitar Hero: World Tour is out next week in Europe, I think due to the sheer ammount of downloadable content alone Rock Band 2 is the better game.
