Resistance 2 DLC Deets

More news is coming out of San Francisco, this time concerning Resistance 2. Insomniac have revealed that the first batch of downloadable content will be hitting the PlayStation Store this Thursday (March 26th) alongside a new patch.

The patch is set to add a new multiplayer mode – Meltdown – as well as a new difficulty level when doing co-op ‘instances’. This increase in difficulty will give players more EXP points, but will (quite obviously) be more challenging.

The patch will also allow players using local multiplayer the ability to sign into two different PSN accounts, which is a pretty cool feature.

As the PDLC, there are much smaller, more intimate maps being released allowing for much more action in smaller scale matches. The first pack – The Aftermath – will be available for $5.99 with a number of new player skins becoming available for $0.99.
