Qore One Off Customers Can’t Go Home

Sony have today corrected their ad for the 6th episode of their ‘online magazine’ Qore. Originally it was said that one off purchasers of the episode would be able to get into the closed beta for Home. This is now not the case, the invites are available to subscribers only. I am not a Qore subscriber and was looking forward to picking up the 6th episode for the beta. Hit the jump to see what Sony had to say.

As an update to the PLAYSTATION(R)3 News email sent on Friday,
October 24th, the special invitation to PlayStation(R)Home's closed
beta is available only to Qore annual subscribers who purchased
subscriptions by 10/29. Qore Episode 06 purchasers will not be
eligible for the special PlayStation(R)Home beta invitation at
this time. We apologize for the miscommunication.

This is a real shame, but then again Sony had to cut the numbers for the beta somehow. If they released it to one off purchasers they might as well have started the open beta now.

    well the should have started the open beta because by that time xbox 360 users should get the experience, so when will we finally get home and stop being homeless?
