PS3 Slim Next Month?

Two Taiwanese companies have apparently been given the contracts to manufacture the oft rumored PS3 Slim.

According to UDN the two companies have been asked to manufacture half of the batch each, which seems about right. The two companies, Foxconn and Pegatron, are the companies who manufactured the original console, which makes this rumor seem a little bit more credible.

These consoles, if they are being made, are set for release in August or September. I wouldn’t be surprised if Sony saved it for TGS to be honest. October would be a better time frame for a Christmas release.
