PS3 In High Demand

It has been confirmed, that due to overwhelming demand of the 120gb model, Sony are facing the possibility of PS3 stock shortages in the UK.

Mark Howsen, sales director of SCE UK, had this to say about the situation:  “Since we launched the slimline PS3 model, the demand has been overwhelming – running over 20 per cent ahead of our expectations,”. He did advise that this setback should be shortlived and to expect it to be resolved within a few weeks.

This is great news for Sony and it shows what can be done with the right pricing and marketing.
