Penny Arcade 3 Still Coming

Remember when episodic games used to be, y’know episodic?

Sorry for the “snark” it’s just that a number of us here at TPSN love the adventures of Gabe and Tycho and we’re glad to hear that, 6 months after the last episode, Penny Arcade Adventures: On The Rainslick Precepice Of Darkness – Episode 3 is still in development.

The series has been a real blast so far and is one of the best old school style adventure games to be made outside of Tell Tale Studios. Hothead, Penny Arcade’s devs, have commented on the lack of a new game. It sounds like we might hear something new soon.

The word is that there’s no new information about the game just yet but that “It [Episode 3] is still in development.”. Well that’s good. With the 2009 Penny Arcade Expo just mere weeks away, I wouldn’t be surprised if we heard something there. It seems the most obvious place to announce something like that doesn’t it.
