Natsume Brings Afrika

Afrika has been a Japanese exclusive for some time now, but it looks like Natsume are ready to bring the game to Western shores.
Known as Haukuna Matata in Japan, the game is a ‘photography sim’ and has you following animals and taking photos of them in their natural habitat. The game was first shown in an E3 2006 showreel for the PlayStation 3 and little, if any, information was known about it. Three years later and it finally looks like the game will be coming out.
The last we heard, National Geographic were picking up the game and changing the “k” to a “c”. It was IGN who, earlier this week, reported that Natsume would be the ones bringing the game to the U.S.
There’s been no word on wheather the game has a European publisher, but at least if it doesn’t get one it can be imported and still be playable. Personally, I quite like the look of this game, but I can see why certain outlets are calling the game “boring”. Hopefully we’ll get more information on this soon.
