Micro Review :: Planet Minigolf – Stronghold Island Add-on
When Planet Minigolf landed on the green of the Playstation Network it brought with it a lot of content but not enough substance to make it more than average, is this something the first released piece of download content has resolved?
Obviously, DLC can’t resolve any of the gameplay problems mentioned in my review, but Stronghold Island introduces an extra 36 coursese, and plenty of opportunity for Zen to right some of the visual misgivings of the game’s original courses. Yhankfully they have seemed to managed that, and the introduction of a few better thought out designs for the courses does improve the game and draws the eye away from some of the smaller gameplay issues.
With it the 36 courses coming in at a total cost of £1.59, Zen Studios are, again, providing you with a lot of content at a small cost. offering the chance for players to add something better to Planet Minigolf is all well and good. But, this only begs the question why didn’t they make courses of this level in the full release?
