Matt Hazard ‘Retro’

So…Matt Hazard is a video games icon. Well, except he’s not. The lead character in the upcoming game, Eat Lead: The Return Of Matt Hazard will apparently be featured in an upcoming downloadable title to be released on PS3 and Xbox 360.

The premise behind the game is that it’s one of Hazard’s earlier games that’s been given a Bionic Commando: Rearmed style makeover.

I’m sure there’ll be references-a-plenty between the full game and the ‘retro’ downloadable release. Hopefully they’ll both be good, I like the idea of a video game parody. Plus NPH is in Eat Lead, what more could you ask for.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Eat Lead got pushed back a week or two, it’s going up against Halo Wars. We’ll have to see if D3 take my advice, hopefully they will. It seems both games have some promise.

Eat Lead is scheduled for March 3rd, it’s downloadable counterpart has a, vauge, release of “summer”.
