Capcom Revamp Another

Capcom announced the PSN release of a re-imagining of Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 at Captivate earlier this week. The Japanese publisher was rumored to be releasing a revamped version of the classic fighter and now that’s going to happen. There’s a demo this week too.

The re-release is based on the Dreamcast version of the game and has been confirmed to include online play and “HD Upscaling”. Not only that, the game will feature custom soundtacks and 56 characters which will all be “unlocked” from the beginning.

The PlayStation Blog have confirmed that a demo is coming this week (April 30th) and is exlcusive to the PSN.

It hasn’t got the treatment that SSFIITHDR did but it certainly looks like it could be fun. There’s some screenshots showing off the ‘filtering’ feature after the jump.
