Live Season Expanded For FIFA 10, This Time It Costs

Last year EA Sports brought the Addidas Live Season to FIFA 09. Basically, this service would update your game each week with updated stats for players depending on how well they played in their last game. It was pretty successful, so they’ve decided to expand it.

EA Sports today announced this expansion of the service. The new and improved ‘My Live Season’ has now been turned into a fully fledged game mode for those who want to participate in the “premium” service. Not only will the stats of players be updated, player form, injuries, transfers, results, fixtures and overall league standings will be incorperated. This has been done to allow players to play the real world games of their team in a number of different leagues. Those leagues are:

• The Barclay’s Premier League
• La Liga BBVA
• Ligue 1
• Bundesliga
• Serie A
• Mexian Primera Division

Every Wednesday is Live Season day where dynamic real-world data and analytics will be updated in FIFA 10 to match the weekly rhythm of real-world football and subscribers will have the chance to rewrite their clubs’ history.

The service will cost £3.99 for one league and a package, which includes all six, will be made available for £7.99.
