Sony have announced that LittleBigPlanet 2 is coming on November 16th in North America. Not only that, but it has a collectors edition, and a really cool one at that.

Those looking for their next Play.Create.Share. fix, only have four months to wait until the game hits shelves. It’s a good job too, because there’s a myriad of choices to be made in regards to your LBP2 experience – ranging from, the standard, $60 to $80 for the collectors edition (all of which can be seen in the gallery below). As is the norm nowadays, select retailers have their own pre-order bonuses:

• Those who go with Amazon will get you Ratchet & Clank Sackboy costumes and four new ‘Animals’ costumes.
• Those who go with Best Buy will get a Toy Story Alien costume as well as the aforementioned ‘Animals’ pack.
• GameStop pre-orderers will net themselves a costume based off of the new Tron movie and the same four animal costumes
• The Great Gonzo is also headed to LBP, but Sony are keeping schtum

If you’ve got the money and want all of those nice little bonuses, then chuck money at it. As mentioned before, there is a collectors edition available. For $80 you get all of the above bonuses and the following:

• A 7″ plush Sackboy
• LittleBigPlanet ‘Game Ends’ (like book ends, but for games).
• Exclusive Jak & Daxter Sackboy costumes

That’s not bad for a $20 mark-up. Sony are emphasising that this will be limited edition, so you best get pre-ordering. Hit the jump for more imagery.
