LEGO Rock Band Confirmed
It’s real, it’s real, can anybody actually believe this is real?!
No this isn’t some mad fanboy rant, after all I am a professional. It’s just my immediate thought as soon as I saw that Harmonix and Tell Tale Games had actually announced LEGO Rock Band.
The game does sport LEGO rockers and definitely feels like the ‘kid friendly’ SKU of Harmonix’s massive selling music game franchise. The game will support all of the existing Rock Band peripherals and, although we don’t know much, we do know a few of the songs that will be on the disc.
- Blur – Song 2
- Pink – So What
- Good Charlotte – Boys & Girls
- Europe – The Final Countdown
- Carl Douglas – Kung Fu Fighting
Is it terrible for me to say that there’s three songs on that list I want to play? Who knows, maybe the rest of the game will consist of some of the ‘kids’ DLC that Harmonix has been putting out of late and these are the only new tracks? I wouldn’t doubt it. I think ‘Song 2′ would be fun to play, not fun enough for me to buy this though.
LEGO Rock Band will be coming this “holiday season” to PS3, Xbox 360, Wii and DS.
