Konami Confident, Ships 3 Million Copies Of PES 2010 To Europe

Despite FIFA 10 getting masses and masses of critical praise Konami still have confidence that Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 will do well in Europe, so much so, they’ve shipped 3 million copies to Europe alone.

FIFA has been on shelves for the majority of this month and continues to sell well, which has left myself (and, no doubt, many others) wondering where all this confidence is coming from. Despite FIFA’s early lead, Konami expect this year’s PES to be “a million-selling title at launch”.

Personally, I doubt that. Hey, that’s just me though.
