Kojima Wanting To Work On FPS?

I’m a bit late on this rumour, but it’s Kojima news so i’m posting it nontheless. According to Joystiq the master of Metal Gear, Hideo Kojima, could be working on a first person shooter. Apparently Kojima has been seen visiting Infinity Ward, Treyarch and Guerilla Games.

Could it be that Kojima will be working on an FPS set in the Metal Gear universe? That would be nice, of course that’s probably completely wrong. Maybe he was ‘shopping’ for a new producer to replace Ryan Payton. Who knows? I don’t even think Kojima does.
