inFamous: The Movie?

It seems Avi and Ari Arad are enamoured with a second Sony exclusive title.

THR.com are reporting that the movie moguls are interested in turning, Sucker Punch’s open world game, inFamous into a movie. The pair have already been linked with the development of a movie based on the Uncharted franchise, so I wouldn’t be surprised to find that they wanted to bring the story of Cole McGrath to the big screen.

THR are also claiming that a script for an inFamous movie has already been drafted by Sheldon Turner. Turner has previously written screenplays for The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Begining and the remake of The Longest Yard.

Personally, I think inFamous has all the trappings to make a good movie and would love to see Cole kicking ass on the big screen, as long as it’s done right. Being a videogame adaptation, the odds are certainly stacked against it.
