inFamous 2 Gets Dated

Sony Computer Entertainment America have announced that inFamous 2 is coming out on June 7th. The next tale of, electric-based hero/villain, Cole McGrath is expected to be one of the biggest games of the year for Sony, and with that date they’ve got to be pretty confident. Why? Well that’s the first day of E3. So either Sony has nothing to announce, or inFamous 2 is so good it can’t be overshadowed.

With this announcement, Sony also confirmed that two special editions of the game will be available. The ‘standard’ special edition comes with a download voucher for in game content and has a lenticular sleeve for box art. The, much better, ‘Hero’ edition comes with the aforementioned download voucher, an 8.5 inch statue of Cole, a mini-comic, the game’s soundtrack, and a replica of Cole’s backpack.

There’s no word on a European release date as of yet, but you’ve got to think it’s coming soon.
