Guitar Hero: WT Exclusives – Van Halen & The Eagles

Some new details for the upcoming Guitar Hero: World Tour have been revealed. First of all 85 tracks will apparently ship on the disc with an R.E.M. track pack (new stuff) being released too. Not only that but the game will exclusively feature Van Halen (not arsed) and The Eagles (Hotel California is their only good song). Carrying on with the exclusives, Metallica will also release their new album in the shops and in Guitar Hero on the same day. Finally, Guitar Hero Tunes was announced as the name of the games user-created content section.

It looks like the game is shaping up quite well but once again those exclusives are not the most tempting and won’t make me buy the whole thing again. I will be buying the disc version and perhaps a guitar if it works with Rock Band/Rock Band 2.

The day someone gets The Smiths or Joy Division as exclusives i’ll be bothered.
