Green Day Rock Band?

It seems that the fans have gotten what they wanted. At a KROQ appearance earlier this week, Green Day lead singer, Billy Joe Armstrong somewhat confirmed that the band would be appearing in Harmonix’s music game before the end of the year.

“Yeah, we’re doing a whole Green Day Rock Band, uh …” was the response from the singer when a fan asked him about his band’s absence from the game. Applause did not allow Billy Joe to finish.

A shame really, what do his stuttered words mean? Is there going to be a full Green Day Rock Band akin to that of The Beatles? Surely not. A downloadable track pack? Most likely. An AC?DC disc based pack? Quite possibly.

Whatever this is, we’ll find out before the year is out, with Armstrong promising just that.
