EA Announce More Server Shutdowns

Those for you who still play older EA games online maybe in for a shock. EA has annocunced that it is shutting down a further 9 servers in April and May. These include a few Need for Speed games on PSP amongst others.

The reasons stated by EA is that less than 0.5% of their online gamers are using these servers. They want to free up their “hard-working engineering and IT staff” to better serve the remaining 99.5% plus.
