Flight Control HD Coming September 15th

Flight Control, one of the most popular games on the iPhone, is headead to PlayStation 3 this September.

The player takes the role of an air traffic controller, tasked with controlling a busy airport. Players are tasked with directing a number of different aircraft to their required destinations whilst trying to avoid colliding with other planes. This will be familiar to anyone who’s played the game on the iPhone. However, the PS3 version (available via PSN) will feature support for stereoscopic 3D and will be one of the first games to use the PlayStation Move motion controller.

The game features solo play and 4-player multiplayer – complete with drop in, drop-out co-op. With 16 different aircraft to choose from and 9 different maps, including 4 super-size maps, Flight Control HD is set to make the ever addictive game more of a social experience. Developer Firemint have also confirmed a brand new “Metropolis” map, exclusive to PS3.
