Firmware 2.52 Available

Well this was (slightly) unexpected. Sony have today released firmware 2.52 for the PlayStation 3. It’s a rather small update and contains changes most won’t recognise.

  • The playback quality of some PS3 format software has been improved.
  • A text entry issue that occurs when using the on-screen keyboard, USB keyboard or Bluetooth keyboard with some PS3 format software has been addressed.

    • I’m not at my PS3 at the moment but the info above is all that seems to have changed with the update. Of course if there’s anything else, we’ll let you know.
