Final Fantasy XIII Ships 5 Million

In a press release straight out of Japan, Square Enix have announced that Final Fantasy XIII has shipped 5 million copies worldwide. 3 million of which have gone to territories outside of Japan.

Of course this is just how many have been sent out to retailers, Square Enix will not confirm how many of these have actually been sold. This bumps up the overall Final Fantasy games shipped worldwide to 96 million. A massive number, but there’s a whole lot of ports out there.
