FIFA 10 Box Art, Cover Stars Revealed
“Ooooh box art, how fascinating” I hear you say. Well readers, this isn’t just any box art. This is the box art for one of myself and Ads’ most anticipated games of the year.
Say what you like about EA Sports’ other franchises, for us this game is the one. The one that will have us playing until next October (just check out what i’m playing on a daily basis).
The cover features, Manchester United star striker, Wayne Rooney and two other blokes called Theo Walcott and Frank Lampard.
Rooney had this to say about, once again, appearing on the cover:
FIFA is definitely the best football game on the market, and I am delighted to be featured on the cover again,I play the game regularly online and against a lot of the lads at the club and I’m looking forward to the 360 degree control as it will make FIFA even more realistic than any other football game out there.
Chelsea and England midfielder Frank Lampard, who had previously appeared on EA Sports’ World Cup 2006 game, had this to say about returning to the cover of an EA Sports’ football game:
I’m really pleased to be part of the EA SPORTS FIFA franchise. Being on the cover of this great football video game with such a long history is really special for me
Arsenal winger Walcott also chipped in:
To join the likes of Wayne Rooney and Frank Lampard on the cover of FIFA is a huge honour for meFIFA is the game of choice in the Arsenal dressing room so I’ll have to keep on top of my game to make sure I’m the best FIFA 10 player at the club.
This is the first UK FIFA cover in four years not to feature, Brazil and AC Milan midfielder, Ronaldinho. However, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him on some of the international covers.
EA have also released some screenshots of the new “Scouting” features players will see before the match. They look much improved from last years game. Hopefully, i’ll have some hands on time with the manager mode and will give you the low down.
FIFA 10 will be on the show floor at the Edinburgh Interactive Festival and I will have a preview of the game up shortly after the event. Stay tuned for all of our coverage coming out of Edinburgh.

What gameplay issues would those be? As a massive FIFA fan I see very few things wrong with 09.
