Eternal Sonata PS3 Hits U.S. October 21st

[By Anthony]

Hopefully we’ll soon see the end of games coming out a year later on PS3. With BioShock finally coming a year after it’s original release another game is about to hit Sony’s juggernaught this October (in the U.S. at least). The JRPG Eternal Sonata is finally going to be coming to PS3 on October 21st, like we don’t have enough to play then.

Set in the musically influenced dreamworld of a dying Frederic Chopain you guide your character around his dream during his last moments. It might seem a bit weird and soppy and with it’s anime-esque art style it might seem a bit on the kiddie side but the (360 veresion) reviews say otherwise.

According to IGN’s Eric Brudvig the game is simplistic at times and definitely tries to cater for a younger audience, but could be a good JRPG to get newcomers (like me) into the genre.

Price dependent, I might pick this one up it seems pretty cool actually.

No idea when this game is coming to European shores but either way I think this’ll be getting overlooked by many with the ammount of cool games out this autumn/winter time.
