Eidos Releases New Batman Screens

Batman: Arkham Asylum is a game i’m really looking forward too and yesterday Edios released a slew of new screenshots for gamers to drool over. The shots are giving us more of a look at the onnymous structure that is the Asylum as well as some new stuff showing off Batman and Joker. Looking good, I can’t wait for it to be released next year.

the game certainly looks great. i’m not too sold on the decision to make this a FPS-type game though. i don’t think it would be as fulfilling as a 3rd person action game where we would be able to appreciate the Batman’s martial arts expertise and gadgets. but here’s hoping this game will break away from the comics/movie-to-video game stigma.

I never heard that you’d play from a first person perspective. I was under the assumption that the game was 3rd person, hence all of the screens of Batman from a 3rd person view. Will look into it though.
