EA Sports To Announce A New WWE Game?
EA Sports have announced that they’re going to announce a new game in January, but won’t tell us what just yet. Rumor has it that this new ventures. will be professional wrestling once again. More specifically they could be taking on the WWE brand when THQ’s license runs out at the end of 2009.
The fact that THQ are to lose the WWE license certainly gives this rumor a bit more merit than it would have. The idea has been banded about in the past, with nothing ever coming from it. Could 2010 be the year that EA Sports, once again, becomes the home of sports entertainment? I guess we’re gonna have to wait until January to find out.

Anyone less than half retarded knows this isn’t true. THQ renewed with WWE a long time ago. This site looks like it was put together by some kid in his bedroom, and has idiotic rumors that lets us all know that the news on this site is run by that same kid.

what about the mlb license…? i would love to see trple play again.. or something new from ea sports.. baseball… 2k mlb sucks… what a bout a game that doesnt center only in the mlb.. but in the world baseball? something like fifa…

While its true that THQ and WWE haven’t yet renewed the liscense, it isn’t because they don’t want to. There is a lawsuit pending between THQ and Jakks…..and they won’t renew the deal until that lawsuit has been settled. However, spokesmen from BOTH companies, say it is their intentions to renew.
