DR2 Has Multiplayer
IGN got a new scoop (no pun intended) on the show floor at GDC today about Capcom’s Dead Rising 2. When talking to, Blue Castle Games’ (the developer) Product Manager, Laura Scholl she let slip that players could experience up to 6,000 characters on screen in multiplayer sessions due to some new technology they were using.
Whilst this isn’t ‘official’ confirmation that the game will contain some kind of multiplayer element (please be co-op story mode) it’s pretty likely that Laura told the IGN crew something she shouldn’t have.
At the time of writing this article we have not recieved comment from anyone at Capcom or Blue Castle.
