Cowabunga Dudes!

I think you’ll find that to be the only time you could ever quote me as saying the word “cowabunga”, but when the heroes of my childhood are involved how could I not. It was announced earlier today that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Blu-Ray box set is on the way and I’m happy.

Sure, you might have to suspend your disbelief at upright-walking, talking, pizza eating turtles but those films, alongside the cartoon series, were pretty much my bread and butter when I was growing up and, to be honest, I still have somewhat of a penchant for Leonardo and the gang to this day. That’s beside the point though.

It has been announced that all four movies will be released on blu-ray in a box set later on this year. The package will contain:

• Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
• Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret Of The Ooze
• Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: Turtles In Time
• A Comic Book
• A Sketch With Co-Creator Peter Laird’s Autograph
• A Radical Beanie Hat
• 8 TMNT Character Cards

No pricing has been released as of yet, I bet it’s not coming cheap though. I might just have to buy it though.
