Bioshock On Playstation 3 looking…worse? What The Hell?

The Incredible Bioshock is being ported to the Ps3. We know this. But it should have a graphical overhaul right? RIGHT? Well, recent screen shots beg to differ. Don’t believe it? Hit the jump and see for yourself. It just doesn’t make sense.
Can you guess which is which?
If you couldn’t tell, the top is the Xbox 360 and the bottom is the Playstation 3. Notice the blocky textures on the big copper thing and how washed out the PS3 screen shot is. Why this is? I have no idea. Cmon 2k games, you’re degrading your own game.

Ryan, I seriously think that’s just a bad shot of the PS3 version. I have played the demo on the PSN and it looks more like, if not better than the 360 version. Personally, the ‘washed out’ look of the PS3 version, if it is like this, looks better IMO it makes Rapture look a lot more real.

Fair enough mate, that would be a little unfair. To be honest I don’t think that 2K have done a poor job, I think it is, like Ad’s said, something to do with the contrast levels on the TV the screengrab is from.
