Assassins Creed II DLC Detailed

We already knew that there was some downloadable content coming for Assassins Creed II, we knew they’d be a gigabyte each, they’d be coming out in January and February and we knew their names. Now Ubi have actually told us what we’re going to be getting for our money.

The first pack, ‘The Battle Of Forli’, will take place in (you guessed it) in Forli. You’ll be defending the city from the Orsi brothers with the aid of Machiavelli and Caterina Sforza. For $3.99 you’ll get 6 new memories in which you’ll “accomplish a daring rescue and prevent the Piece of Eden from falling into the hands of the Templars.” and the flying machine is back too. Great news.

The second pack, ‘Bonfire Of Vanities’, priced at $4.99 will see you teaming up with Machiavelli 0nce again to free Florence from “the grip of the mad monk Savonarola” in 10 new memories. Alongside this there’s a new district of Florence to explore and a new move for Ezio to master, the “spring-jump”.

As many thought, these packs will fill in the game’s missing sequences. Great sounding packs at great prices, what’s not to love?
