Activision Announce Sequels

At an event in New York City the other day Activision Blizzard announced some rather interesting, yet not unexpected sequels to some of their biggest franchises. They announced that there would be a new Tony Hawk game out next year which “you won’t be playing with your hands” and, shock horror, Guitar Hero 5 was announced too. Of course no more details were announced but there was something else, rather interesting, announced. Call Of Duty 4 is getting a true sequel – Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Simple, but personally I think they could have made a little more effort with the title.

Fans of COD4 will be glad the game is returning to a more modern setting, although I personally think that Treyarch have done a good job with World At War. Thanks to PS3Fanboy for the image.
